octopi!

above are some octopi i painted for one of my mentors of the summer during my internship. he took a picture of his daughter with them hanging in her room. i didn't know if it was okay to show her face so that is why she is pixelated. she is adorable though!

above is something i did in the begining of the summer for my internship to let people i'd be working with about myself.

i sketched this up on one of my commutes to nyc. over the summer i commuted about 4 hours a day via a bus. i gained some skill on sketching while moving... an advancement from sketching movement!

summer nearing to an end.

it's been awhile since i last posted. let's get caught up... shall we? i spent the summer at harrison and star in nyc interning in art direction. it was a fabulous experience. what i learned there can not be simply taught in classes or in a book. life experience with professional individuals with real deadlines and knowledgeable clients made me grow as an artist and as a person. it is with respect for the company that i will not be posting any projects i worked on. however that being said, my work from this point on has a new high standard and i look forward to posting these pieces as they come along. above are a few photographs of my time spent at harrison and star. sometime this week i will also post sketches i have done through the summer. it's great to be posting again. look forward to hearing from everyone!
